By accessing and using MyYearInReview ("Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to these Terms of Service, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

MyYearInReview is a service that generates beautiful, shareable Year in Review pages from your Git commits. The Service analyzes your code contributions and creates visualizations, statistics, and AI-powered narratives about your coding journey.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Registration

  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account

3.2 GitHub Integration

  • The Service requires connection to your GitHub account
  • You grant us permission to access your GitHub repositories as specified during authorization
  • You may revoke access at any time through your GitHub settings

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or related systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
  • Use the Service to transmit malicious code or spam
  • Violate any intellectual property rights

5. Content and Intellectual Property

  • You retain all rights to your repository data and commits
  • You grant us a license to process and display your data as necessary to provide the Service
  • Generated reviews are owned by you

5.2 Service Content

  • The Service interface, features, and functionality are owned by MyYearInReview
  • You may not copy, modify, or distribute our intellectual property without permission

  • Certain features may require payment
  • Prices are displayed in the Service and may be updated with notice
  • Payments are processed securely through Stripe

6.2 Refunds

  • Refund requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MYYEARINREVIEW SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MyYearInReview from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
